The Breast-bowl or nipple-jatte (a two-part tasting bowl), was created in 1787 as a royal command for the Dairy of Rambouillet, a place offered by Louis XVI to Marie Antoinette, who enjoyed the rural "design" of the place and neoclassical decorations that were in vogue at that time.
The queen was using this amazing object to drink milk, a symbol of fertility.
Four nipples polychrome bowls were manufactured for the Dairy, a variant in white and gold was invented in the nineteenth century to follow the evolution of taste.
It is even said, but it is a legend, that the curve of the Breast-bowl was obtained by molding the royal breast! This object that embodies the beauty of the flesh and love pleasures, tinged with eroticism and humor, has fascinated since its inception.

The enamel bowl is obtained by shooting a ball of paste porcelain, while his tripod bisque is made by stamping the molding shop-reparage.
